When the rs500 program finished at Eggenberger there was a huge amount of left over brand new parts , Included was a 40% finished brand new motorsport bodyshell .

Over the years the shell and parts have been through a few hands until finally being shipped from no other that ‘Dick Johnson racing’ to our workshops here in the UK .

One of our customers jumped at the chance to purchase the shell and parts and asked us to finish the prep and build the last ever Eggenberger rs500  ( how could we refuse )

The car will carry the iconic Texaco livery , as this is the most famous of all the Eggenberger liveries

So we started the build earlier this year , we hope you enjoy the build and keep checking in for updates as we go .

The car will be exactly as the cars were built in period with all brand new Eggenberger parts that we carry on the shelf . We have had all the correct specification Eggenberger suspension parts remanufactured in the latest high grade materials , and although we have period brand new items we will be fitting our own brand new items .

This special build will be raced once completed ( no show queen here ) so a very exciting time for us and the owner of the project .
