Paul Linfoot Racing are looking for a full time or part time Race car Fabricator / mechanic on a self employed basis
We are based near Scarborough, North Yorkshire .
Due to a growing customer base I need someone who would love to work in a clean well equipped workshop and work on the iconic RS500s, race and road cars.
I’m looking for someone who can alloy weld / tig and mig weld and has the skills to make one off alloy tanks etc. Also fit roll cages all to a very very high standard .
A mechanical understanding is also required although I’m happy for this to be a basic skill set as I’m happy to train the applicant on Group A mechanics .
The job will also require some weekends away at race meetings looking after customer and my own race cars.
All tools and equipment are provided so you will not be required to bring your own hand tools etc .
I’m looking for a very honest person who is happy to communicate with customers and show a very professional approach to all aspects of there work when in the workshop or at race events.
I am very very fussy regarding the quality of work I send out and expect the same from anyone working with me, a “that will do ” attitude is simply not acceptable. Working under pressure is essential as working during race meetings can often mean a very quick thinking fast pace is needed to get a car back out on track safely.
If you fancy working on some of the most iconic race and road cars and have a very keen interest towards the racing scene then please feel free to get in touch via phone or email .
Please remember this is for a fabricator / Mechanic , so please do not apply if you don’t have the welding / fabricator skills.
A trailer licence will be a bonus or willing to take your test if you don’t have one as I often need to move more than one car at a time .
Good rates of pay offered based on the skills you can offer .
So if you are interested or may know someone who may be then please share or pass on my details
Thank you
