The very last Genuine Eggenberger rs500 race car

This very special race car has been very proudly assembled by Paul Linfoot racing

We are very proud to have had the chance to build this special race car using all of the very last brand new Eggenberger race car parts that were taken directly from Rudie Eggenbergers workshop after being kept by himself for many years after the Sierra programme had finished .

The list of brand new parts include

1. The last brand new Motorsport 909 bodyshell ( part fabricated at the Eggenberger workshop ) finished at PLR

2. The last brand new Eggenberger race car rs500 engine , a complete race engine built and then crated ready to use
This was taken to Harvey Gibbs ( SCS ) to be stripped and check due to being stood for 30 plus years
It was then run on the dyno and treated to a brand new Life racing ecu and loom to keep this valuable engine running as good as possible and also well protected

3, brand new gearbox ( stripped and checked by BARA motorsport )

4, 2 x Brand new diffs , again rebuilt by BARA

5 , brand new PLR complete car loom ( built for us by no other than prodrive )

6, brand new Eggenberger front uprights / alloy evo rear arms ,
Front and rear ARBs , TCAs etc etc

7, All brand new gauges ( Stack )

8, AP air jacks ( brand new )

9. Brand new PLR spec Rad and cooler package built for us by PWR ( world leaders in these products )

This list is endless

Every part of this build was taken out of FORD bags , even down to window trims , screws , seals , catches , glass , you name it this car has it all brand new

All the body kit is genuine ford , the rear spoiler was brand new old stock

This is the very best rs500 to have been built since the Eggenberger workshops stopped producing them back in the day

The quality and parts used are second to none anywhere in the world
A bold statement to make but I’ll stand by that to anyone who wishes to challenge it .

The car is near completion now and can be purchased at far less that the actual build cost would be if you were to order the same car from us at PLR

It can be bought

1. As is with small amounts of work to complete

2. Complete ready for shake down and testing

3 . As is with boxes and boxes of brand new Eggenberger parts , Inc , 2 x brand new rs500 road car crate engines , boxes and boxes of 909 suspension parts ,
There is just way to much to list but a minimum of 100k of parts alone ( probably more like 150k in reality)

There are quite a few you tube videos of this car being built so you can see the attention to detail

This is a once in a lifetime chance to own a brand new Eggenberger spec car built with all brand new Eggenberger parts and known to the Eggenberger family

The price will depend on what package you would require

But I’ll put a price for the car only in a finished state of 200k

This is 50k less that I quote for a brand new build same spec car
