This car was originally sold by me as one of the most original untouched rs500s that had been parked up many years ago.

The buyer then resold the car exactly as he bought it to the current owner who stripped the car to a bare shell and had it repainted , inside / outside and underside to a concourse standard . ( costing over 25k )

The owner has now decided to concentrate on other things and has asked me to offer this car for sale for someone else to finish

The car has covered just 55,000 miles , is HPI clear and has full service history including every invoice to match the service stamps from Brooklyn Ford

This is one of the best history files I have seen on a 500

The shell is outstanding,

The interior
Superb seats / door cards etc , the headling will need sorting though ( retimed )
Comes with a mint uncracked dash

All the mechanical parts are here but have not been touched so will need stripping / refurbished and then refitting to the car

IMO this is a fantastic chance to complete this restoration and have the car owning you far less than it’s competed value

I see the car finished ( if done to the same standard as the shell and interior ) at £150 to £160,000

I estimate the costs to complete at
£20/ £25,000
